I just wanted to say that you guys on this forum are fantastic and thanks to your posts and knowledge I was able to fix my lady's Christmas present just in time. I don't want to waste your time or space but just want to encourage others not to give up. I picked up an older IGT s plus barcrest top dollar. It started out as a possible disaster with missing parts, ruined circuit boards and error codes that were driving me nutty. Well long story short, unable to find a replacement barcrest mpu4 board I decided to repair the board myself. After a trip to micro center, and ordering a new battery I was able to get the top box bonus game operating only to loose the rest of the machine. After going through this forum, contacting some very kind and helpful people and ordering a few parts I was able to get this thing up and running doing a final temporary fix Christmas morning. The final thing was the door optics to which I jumped which cleared up all the weird error codes on the top and bottom and coins inserted, machine works.
Don't give up, the knowledge on here will most definitely get you going. Thank you to everyone here, you guys and gals are the best..
