Title: My New Toy
Post by: cowboygames on March 06, 2017, 06:52:50 PM
Picked this up at Sams Club today, it is a blast and super easy to use. It's a Segway Minipro they've carried for a little over a year now. Just marked down from $800 to $600

Cool but it looks like it could be a road rash generator to me.

I've got around 5 miles on it already and no road pizza to show for it. Very easy to use

Be careful with that, didn't the inventor of it get killed while riding one? I mean like, he would have been very used to riding one.

Everything we do has a certain amount of risk, but I'm pretty careful using it.

They already have one with a chair, lol

I have the balance boards that were so pupular last year whose batteries had the spontaneous combustion issue.  The one I purchased has had the batteries replace by UL listed ones as well as the power supply.  So I've had no issues, and no, I've not yet fallen from it.  The Segway you bought has a lot more stability though.  The bar against the knees makes it a lot easier to ride.  But really once you get used to riding the balance boards, they become second nature.
