Title: Bally Western Belle plays but won’t pay.

Picked this up on CL.  Really neat machine and in excellent condition inside.  Plays fine but won’t pay when it hits.  Let me know if you have any insight on getting it to pay.  Thanks!

It's a bally 800 series electro mechanical slot machine that someone put in a different cabinet
Check the hopper
Chances  are it's either not resetting to zero on the wiper board of the hopper or the zero stop is broken, gummed up, or needs adjustment

Right now I'm in Rockford, Illinios the Chicago land area
But sometimes yuma, AZ and Encinitas, CA

Looks to me like there is a circuit board enclosed in a plastic box. That would be a modified Bally 800 since the original 800's had no circuit boards. Perhaps a Summit machine??

I don't believe it's a summit
It still has the bally wiper blades and index reels on the reel mech also summit gaming systems boards had red, green, and yellow


Jason look at the mpu board closely to see if it has a manufacturer name on it
That might narrow it down some

Have you ever known of a Bally 800 series EM to have a circuit board inside? If so then it is not a true EM.

It's not an em! We know that! What is it??? At first glance I thought it was until I saw pictures of the inside, but I know it's not a e series and doesn't appear to be a summit, so what is it??? I know it's peace meal ed together. To help him we need to know more information

If you look on the top photo, you will see there is no payout unit. No spiral disc, contact plate or carriage frame. It is possible that the board controls the payout.

Looks like that slot machine was substantially modified, based on that circuit board. You might "google" Speciality Slots and see if they are still around.

Can’t be the only one on NLG who has one of these beasts.  I’ll hold out hope that someone will chime in with some brilliant info—wouldn’t be the first time on here!
