Title: MK6 Themes
Post by: Cherga on October 03, 2017, 03:57:25 AM
hi all, are there any MAV-500/MK6 themes with fun/interactive bonuses? I have an Indian Princess that just has the free game bonus which isn’t very much fun. Thanks!

Look for Mr Cashman games.

Mr Cashman bonuses will pop up at random times with random bonuses. There are a few free spin bonuses but there are also a few interactive bonuses where you get to pick.

I enjoy the "Choy Sun Doa" theme. I think there might be a couple? If/when you hit a bonus you get to choose from different bonus multipliers and number of spins...

Mr. Cashman, Cashman Tonight, Lil Lucy, Lady Luck, Bank Buster, Zorro, Mr Woo and Outback Jack all have mixes of second screen bonuses and free spins, there are probably tons more MK6 games out there with similar features that aren't just free games. Some of them also have progressive jackpots (and sometimes linked e.g. Bank Buster is a cross between a Cashman and a Hyperlink game).

As hemiroid mentioned, the "choose your feature" series is also popular. Choy Sun Doa, Choy Sun Returns/Fortune King/King of Asia II (alternate names), 5 Dragons, Red Baron, Dragon Lord and Prophecy have similar designs and are all Reel Power games. Show Me The Money and Money Tree are multiline types, and unique in that you don't actually need the wilds to be granted the multipliers (the wild simply doubles the line pay like Queen of the Nile). Speaking of multipliers, Grizzly has a second screen where you attempt to catch fish in order to increase the wild multiplier up to x50 (yes, that means five measly 9's with a bear can pay $50 on a 1 cent line bet!) Another one is Corrida de Toros, where you can bet on whether the matador or the bull wins during the bonus. Lucky 88 is also a "choose your feature" game but you can also choose a dice game instead of free spins.

There are also "second chance" type games where you can optionally dismiss a set of free spins (and whatever they paid) to play another set of free spins or to take random bonus credits. King of the Nile is probably the most popular one, Queen of Sheba, Indian Dreaming 2nd Chance and Dinosaur are others.

Lady of Fortune/The Magician give out random bonuses just for hitting a line win with a wild. They are based on the high denomination game Big Red but with more lines, however I think only "picture" symbols count for the bonuses, e.g. you can't trigger it with 3 tens and a wild or something like that.

Where's The Gold/Let's Go Fish'n also have a "choose your character" theme where you dig/fish for free games and wilds. Milkin' It is a 50 line example of this style. With only eight main symbols in the game (plus the scatters), turning 3 symbols into wilds usually ends up paying huge.

Wild Goose lets you choose between free spins (basically a Queen of the Nile type bonus), a bingo game or a mystery prize (which is randomly free games, bingo or bonus credits)
