What is the machine doing?
Do you have any kind of number on the old chip?
Why do you think it is the chip?

The machine doesn't do anything, has a 8 or 0 code in the last frame of the win meter. No coin-in or tilt light. I sent the board to Dick Harkey out in California, he says the board is good, but the game chip as died. He says he cannot program a new chip. Doesn't have the right program for this game. Its a 1 to 6 coin game, 4 reels, with Giant symbols. Here are a few pictures showing the payoff top glass and the win meter at 8 on the meter, isn't a real code. The machine did intermittent stuff, like the bell would ring, the pull handle relay would unlock, while just sitting. Those where the first signs. I do not have the controller card back yet, Dick said he was going to mail back today. He says the game chip has died, but the board is good. So, I guess I need a new chip, which I should be able to get from Dick, but I need some one to program it. This is way above my pay grade. I have the reel index chart done also, with all reels in the "X" index position.  That would be picture 4. That is all I know.

I can program the chip and have a library of chips but to see if I have yours I will need the number off of the old chip.

That sounds great! I'll have the board back Monday or Tuesday. Can I get your phone number? Soon as the board shows up, I'll give you a call. I hope the chip has a number on it. My name is Carl. I really want to get the machine up and running again, the machine came from the Sands in AC. It was the first type machine I ever played when I went to AC in like 1980 or so. It's a cool machine. I won $100.00! I'll be in touch, and thank-you again, Carl H. I'll post the reel chart if you haven't seen it. I can take a picture and post as a j.peg, instead of the xls file.
