Title: #73 Wedge Socket
Post by: jonbbrew on June 11, 2018, 10:25:00 PM: Hey all. I thought I bought a new 73 mini wedge bulb socket but they do not have tabs like the one in my photo. Where can I get one with the spade connectors. The new ones appear to be for mounting on a circuit board.

I have many of those available.

Itâ€™s a IGT S+ but yes there are 4 of them. 2 each for coin accepted and insert coin lights.

Post by: Jim on June 12, 2018, 03:49:08 PM: Gary, yes those were the same ones used on the Bally 5500, I have never seen those used on a S+ for coin accepted and insert coins, unless someone made some sort of modification. on the S model they used #47 bulbs with the push in lamp holder, the plastic would get brittle and crack and you would tape them in place. then they changed to the twist and turn wedge holder, then eventually they went to the twist and turn with the tabs that made contact with the circuit board.
