hello everyone I picked up an aristocrat top gear and cant seem to get the thing to accept coins ,when powered up it goes through its start up cycle no problems then it comes on no problems the bill validator works I can put money in and play no problems but the thing will not accept coins the hopper also works when you cash out. I have no power to the coin comparator there is 5 volts going to the detect coin assembly and 22 and 23 volts going to the detect assembly but nothing going up to the comparator I am replacing the coin detect assembly to see if that will work. I have jumped a wire to the comparator and it does light up the coin goes through and into the hopper which is what I want but it wont register as a coin accepted any help would be appreciated thanks

If possible could you tell me how the bill validator is hooked up, Ive got a machine (Double Agent) that looks like the Top Gear and my coins (nickels) work but bill validator is completely DOA. There is a harness thats just hanging but I cant find where it plugs into. Any pics would help.
