Title: IGT battery leakage
Post by: KingNY on February 23, 2019, 09:45:16 PM
New here. Have a  man cave with 4 standup arcade machines, pool, air hockey, card and fooseball tables, dartboards, skeeball, putting green, dual basketball pop a shot, and a slot machine HAD to be added. I picked up a Red, White and Blue real cheap but it didn't power up. Pulled the main board and found that the battery leaked out on to the board. I assume it was on its back by the way it leaked out. I ordered the battery but I need to clean the board up first. So here come the questions. Will a bad battery keep it from coming on? If not, maybe the leakage took out other parts. Where can I get a schematic so I can get the resistor values, power supply voltages, etc? I have a broken emitter on the door and I have read different things about its necessity. Is that necessary for normal operation? What else has anyone experienced with this machine that I should look for before trying power again?
