Title: How to change panel size ?( progressive display only 7 dots high)
Post by: mctuerk on July 02, 2014, 12:26:03 AM

Some of my progressive displays are only 7 dots high. How to tell the controller? PSP has no option to choose between 7 oder 8 dots. Do i need a special software or a different eprom ? Connected to one of my LED5s it shows the correct high of 7dots, but i have no con1 to program the display driver. I want to use the standalone controller to drive the external 7 dots high progressive displays. But how to change the panel size?

Under Settings, menu=disp there is a choice of size listed as 48, 60, 64, & 70. Does this do anything
to change it?

You have to change the font being used.
you have to do this with the configuration buttons and switch on the cham II+
pick like odtr8w or such.

I have the same size display.  Goto the Display menu on the controller  by flipping the switch on the board and change the setting.  I have mine set to ODTR7 and a size of 48.
