Title: Bally V7200 coin comparator and hopper set up

I know absolutely nothing about setting up this machine Everything works great except coin in and hopper. Can someone tell me how to change the setting to enable these to work?

Is a clear and key chip required?  If so what are they?

Hi, I assume this is a Gamemaker.  You will need a clear chip. However, you can check how your machine is currently set. Turn jackpot key. Find Memory Test. Chose "eeprom".  Should show current settings such as type(upright, bar, slant, type of coin accepter, hoper, etc. Hope this helps.

That helped. Was able to activate the hopper. What is the proper clear chip?

A clear chip can be obtained from most any of the vendors on the home page. Perhaps one will chime in. There is another clear chip I think called Deep Blue that has a few enhancements, but is virtually the same. You might want the check the "NLG File System" blue tab at the top of this and all NLG pages. Tons of info. Did you get the coins to work?

I cannot get the coin comparator to work.  I found where you can test the bill validator and coin comparator but can only access the bill validator.  I think one of the members is sending me the proper clear chip.  I will try resetting it
