Title: Can't unscrew the power supply behind the reels

The Phillip's screw is too marred up & stripped to unlock the power supply, it's dead & I need to replace it. Anyone had this issue before & were able to get it out? Thanks in advance

Try Vise grips?   I think you are talking about the knurled nut?  Vise Grips should work to knock it loose.

Yes, the nut. It has the Phillips Head screw inside, thanks, I'll try the vise grips

I had one that was in same condition and the knurled part did nothing but spin.  I applied gorilla glue between the screw and the knurled  knob, let it sit for 24 hrs then used mini vise grips and turned the knurled knob and it came right off.
