Title: Changing Battery on Signal Backplane Board
Post by: dailey on January 05, 2024, 05:35:58 PM
I have a Bally Alpha 2 Pro Wave machine and the time has come to change the battery. Is there some easy method of changing that CR2032 battery on the backplane without tearing the machine apart to get to it? I can barely get two fingers into that tight space.

Update:
The Bally Wave machine has a small Backplane board located on the bottom left wall of the machine directly beneath the MPU housing. It is a little tight to get to the battery on that board. It helps to fashion a small mini screwdriver with a hook at the tip to slip under the bottom edge of the battery to pop it out.
