Title: WMS BB1 monitor issues
Post by: newkid3 on January 08, 2024, 08:31:14 PM
I just picked up two WMS BB1 machines. These are my first WMS BB1 machines. I was told they did work and the batteries just needed to be replaced. When I picked them up both monitors where working. One had call attendant on the monitor and the other had a bunch of text on the monitor just like they are in the pics. When I got them home and turned them on the Wolverton monitor did not come on at all. I turned it off and back on a few times and the monitor never did show anything that I seen. Lucky Lemmings monitor came on the first time with a bunch of text and the boot seemed to stop after saying file not found or something like that.  So I  turned it off and back on and all the monitor showed was no signal for a second and then went blank. Nothing else ever came up on monitor. Both monitors were working so I don't think they are bad. I was wondering if there is anything that could keep the monitors from coming up. Any suggestions on how I could trouble shoot the monitors. Thanks

Plug them into your laptop.

So with the machines on hook the monitors up to my laptop to see if I get video on monitor from my laptop. Do you know where the monitor plug is that I need to hook to my laptop? I have never messed with BB1 before. I guess I can look and find it by following  the cable from monitor. Everything in these is totally new to me. Thanks

Do some reading first.
Go get a Bluebird Upright Service Manual in the NLG System Files.

Ok the monitors are now working on both machines. I will start a new topic on the no booting issue on both machines.
