Title: Light it up!?
Post by: RiseLikeRa on October 19, 2015, 05:20:38 PM
Hello gang:

Since this is one of the most quiet forums on this site, and loaded with some of the sharpest participants on NLG, and since I was not able get a Fortune 1 slot machine so a I have a few extra bucks, I thought that I would ask about a Fortune 1, SIRCOMA or casino related lighted sign.  Neon or otherwise is an option.  I want to brighten up my game room.  I already bought a sign from one of our sponsors on the home page and I love it.  What do you guys and girls suggest?  Any pictures would be nice to see.

Since I got such overwhelming response from the forum I simply ordered another nice sign from Scott a NLG sponsor.  He does fantastic work.  I looked at a really busted Fortune 1 slot last week.  This thing was broken in every way.  The hunt continues.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Same well wishes to you Ra!  Sorry there aren't more Fortune I enthusiasts here to keep you company.

I feel the same way to a lesser extent in the Bally EM forum.  I am in a 30 year state NY, and these are the games that I can own without any problems from Johnny Law.  In addition, I like the character of the older games. Once I got my fortune 1 games working properly they have been basically trouble free.  Lucky I guess. I have the Craps, Blackjack and Poker. The only one missing from the collection is the slot machine Fortune 1.   When I get that one I will stop I guess.  lol

I do miss chatting and helping folks out.

Im just a lonely boy, lonely and blue....

Dude I live in a state where they have to be about 65 plus I wouldn't worry. If you're not running a casino they let you be. I have a number of machines and never get bothered. Don't sweat it. Enjoy what you have and if you need to chat to someone I'm always around. Don't be lonely you belong to NLG!

What about the F1 slot in Michigan that's on eBay? $50! Call the seller at (517)320-3426. The ad says it lights up, could be just an adjustment on the brightness.  :cool_thumb_up:

And we can help you out with boards, harnesses, whatever you need for F1 and F2 parts. We're going through some of our older stuff now and will be selling some things.

I might be interested in F1 & F2 parts since I still work on both.

No problem. Just getting to some of the older stuff and realizing it needs to find new homes. Let me know if you have any certain needs/interests. Not trying to hijack. Email me at sales@centralvalleyslots.com. May be listing a few on eBay and test those waters as well.

I don't feel hijacked at all.  You of all people have been extremely helpful to me. I am forever in your debt.  The Michigan game is too far gone for me.  I will be patient and keep looking for a machine in better condition from the start.  I know that is will cost more money but a plug and play will be worth it to me in reduced aggravation.

Well Ra,

i realized after posting that the machine was the same that had been posted for months (my apologies). What are you looking for exactly? As I have said, we are whittling down inventory of some of the older games, and there is still the ONE up on the rack. I believe it is currently a 4 reel video slot, 1cent. With your prior posts, my husband was like "No way, never selling it!!!" Now, as things change, we are considering selling some machines. Knowing the good home it would have helps immensely. I have not seen but the front of it in 5-7 years, so it would need to be pulled down and photos taken, but I can assure you, my husband does not keep/protect junk machines.

If you're interested, please let me know.

Nice setup Ra..  :cool_thumb_up:  I need to get my machines in one area. Mine are scattered all around the house. Sons going to be 20 on the 11th, been hoping to use that bedroom some day. I like your assortment of machines. The Bally Metalist is one of my favorites. Mines a Nickel version, just need to tweak the mayo it's in mine. Can't wait to get all 3 of my Red Glass MGM Machines side by side, then my Money Honey, and E-Series Continental.

Thank you so much Gary.  There is no right or wrong with this collection addiction.   I respect whatever works for you and your home.   That's the small section of my collection and my wife would not allow one more game.  10 is the charm I guess.

Happy and healthy new year to you and your family.
I treasure all of the NLG crew.

Stay well
