| Candle tower assembly help needed |

I have two candles for my two s3000 machines. I’ve downloaded and reviewed the s3000 documents in the files section and have verified that the candles are in fact for s3000 based on P/N. However I’m wondering if I’m missing a harness or something because I don’t see where they plug in to the controller board. Anyone know where / how these get hooked up? Thanks! |

You must be missing a harness which connects the candle harness to the backplane. I don't have the candle tower on my machine, I have a topper which has a candle on top. I traced the wiring of the topper candle (Candle conn pins 1, 2, 3) to the J30 connector on the Backplane. The candle connector Pin# 6 goes to chassis ground. Maybe you can find one of these harnesses, or you can make your own. If you have a topper you don't mind sacrificing, you can cut the two mating connectors you need out of it and make a harness. |
