Title: Crazy Bugs and Cherry Master
Post by: Jessiekirk on August 21, 2018, 07:28:02 PM
yes, I have 3  8-liner games and the electric company was replacing a pole and when they did it they hooked up the transformers wrong and gave my wiring a little more voltage than normal, like 170 volts or so. Now two of the three games won’t power up. But when I unplug them the screen flashes. Any insight on the subject would be nice! Thanks.

Have you contacted customer service at the electric company? Something like this they should be liable for. What about your other electronic devices like tv, radio, dvr, garage door opener, etc? If this happened to me I think I'd be complaining loudly to someone at the electric company and expecting them to do something.

I'd start by checking all fuses in the machines that are not working. Then decide if the machine's power supply is working or not. Sometimes the power supply has a part that absorbs over-voltages or spikes and it may have taken one for the team. Since you have one machine that is working, if it is the same kind as the non-working ones you can try swapping the power supply in the non-working machines with the power supply in the good machine to see if that is the problem.
