We know: dev hda= OS card
                dev hdb= game card
 
 What is dev hdc?

Brad,  I got out of these a long time ago.  It may be looking for the host comm device such as top box boards etc.  I have no idea what you are trying to run or even on what platform.  My best guess,  Without digging for the info-which should be easy on these--B.

Hard drive(s).  Linux enumerates storage devices based on bus ID's.  Anything that could be considered a hard drive is given /dev/hdx where x=a to z although rare to get that far, usually stops at g.
