Happy New year everybody,I recently picked up a WMS BB1 with a dead LCD screen, once I was able to find a replacement I ran into a power supply issue. Sometimes it would start to boot then freeze and other times the game just would not start.
The power supply was replaced to find the batteries on the motherboard were dead, after replacing the batteries I figured I may as well order a RAM CLEAR CF card.
I believe I am at the end of this journey, the machine clears and the configuration is almost done till I get to the COM ERROR, my MEI SC6607 is not connected and I can’t seem to locate the wiring pin-out.
Does anybody know where to find the proper wiring configuration?

It's not plugged into anything? There are also jumpers that determine what kind of protocol the validator will use. Post a photo of the 3 jumpers located on the left side of the backplane. They determine how the validator will communicate with your game. If you have the MEI, they need to be set to RS-232 mode.

Thanks for pointing out the RS232 configuration. I did confirm that part.
The harness is there but not connected. I am looking for the proper connections from the MEI connector to the WMS wiring harness.
I found a reference to a Bally Alpha.... Bally Alpha MEI BVD install/Help needed (http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=13510.msg72766#msg72766)

Now I need one for a WMS BB1

Post a photo of what your harness end looks like. Need to make sure you have the right type of harness as there are various mei harnesses for the 6607 validator.

This is what I have for now.....
Thanks for taking the time to look at this and any input you may have.
