Title: SAVP Red Scrren Error Presentation Managet?

Get this error message every time I turn on the machine.
It used to clear itself after turning the reset key to reboot, now it won't clear.


Any idea what this means or where to start troubleshooting?

I usually see this when you have an OS/Bios mismatch. But you said it used to clear with the turn of the reset key.  Have you tried erasing cabinet and nvram?

Thanks for the reply.


Guess I'll try a wipe and reload and see if that clears it up.


Didn't do it every time I turned on the machine, only about every 3rd time, and it would reset with a reboot.


Now it's a hard fail, can't get past it. Suspect a component going bad, but not sure which one causes this error. You mentioned BIOS problem, could it be a chip?

It is not a bios issue (the machine wouldn't even boot and get that far if you have a bios issue).  I discard that because it worked before, the error I see with fresh off casino floor machine, where techs just put whatever mpu into whatever cabinet and you end up with incompatible OS versions for the boot bios on the machines.  Don't wipe the hard drive just cabinet and NVRAM, and boot up and see if the issue is fixed.

Did a wipe and reconfigured the game and settings, all seems fine at this point.


Cycled power a couple of times and it's going through the normal boot process without errors.
