Title: Sigma SG-32B OMG
Post by: OldGuy on June 08, 2020, 03:23:10 PM
I recently picked up a Sigma machine.  I barely can get around with Bally S5500's.  I know nothing about this machine other than the AC works because the neons work.  My first question is: do the MPUs have some form of CMOS battery on them, if so where is it located and what type of battery is it?
I visually inspected both the AC and DC power supplies looking for obvious signs, didn't see anything obvious.  I'm attaching a pic of the processor board.  Any help much appreciated.

It is a Supercap. If it doesn't charge up within 5 minutes of turning power on you may need a new one.
