Title: S2000 MPU ID (need clear chip(s)
Post by: 61Wally on July 14, 2021, 06:41:25 AM
First off, I would like to THANK ALL of the people at NLG and their partners for the FANTASTIC help.
I have a S2000 Triple Double Stars, 3reel machine. There is NO denomination emblem on the front, and it has the 4 groups of leds as if it were a multi-denominational machine. The problem I have is it is displaying, COIN DENOMINATION UNKNOWN & CALL ATTENDANT. It also shows Cash $0.00 & 1credit=2,000.  Do I need to start all over and clear it? If so what clear and/or programming chips do I need?

Key00045. Not necessary to clear but you should have a clear chip too.
Changing the accounting denom would require a clear IVC00224.

Thank You Much. The 224 chip will allow me to get into the denomination, so I can get rid of that 2,000 that’s in the display? Do You know if this is A multi- denominational machine?

The 224 will clear everything. Use the key chip to change your coin denom.

I used the 224 chip, and I must be doing something wrong. When I went through the menu, and exited out, It still came up DENOMINATION UNKNOWN. ANY help would be appreciated.

Ok, I have few of these S2000’s that I’m restoring, Sorry for my ignorance, does that mean after the 224 chip is put in machine and cycled, I use my 17 chip , and then program my machine?
