Hello,
I have a G20 that I purchased for some SAS testing and it came without an RS232 Daughter card. I acquired one and have it installed in the top slot on the backplane board. I have gone through all the comm settings and setup Primary SAS as Com1 and Address 1 and setup the protocol as RS232. The RS232 board shows a green LED that just stays solid and a red LED that does nothing. I am not getting any comms ping to my player tracking hardware. Wondering if I have a bad daughter board or a bad backplane board.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Try a different slot on your backplane and adjust your settings.

I assume the order is from Top down on the backplane ports? Starting at Com1 at the top?

That is correct.

That is correct.
Tried moving to com2 and com3 and same issue. I am going to get another RS232 board and see if that's the problem. Or I have a bad backplane board maybe. Backplane shows the LED on for the 5v comms. Any other ideas?
