Title: Jurisdiction Chip Education
Post by: pdburgo on May 01, 2022, 07:19:35 AM
I recently acquired a wms bb1 machine with the game Pegasus. I installed a TITO board in the machine and it works properly. The problem is that the machine has an Indiana jurisdiction chip which is very restrictive on the limits setup.

I've been doing some research and found out about the Columbia jurisdiction chip which basically has no limit restrictions. Where can I buy a less restrictive chip? Is the jurisdiction chip the only thing I need to change the limit restrictions? Do I also need a Bios chip? What is the procedure to change the chip or chips. Any other information that would be helpful would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

The change out of the jurisdiction chip is simple.  With power off remove the Indiana chip and install the Columbia chip.  Remove the OS card, insert the clear card and boot up to clear the machine.  Reinstall the OS card and boot up to the game setup screen, set the game up and play.

I have a Columbia chip if you need one PM me.

Everyone seems to like the Mississippi one that disables the mechanical meters.
