Title: IGTS Double Five-Hopper Payout Setting (Option 7)

I have an issue on a IGTS+ Double five Slot that I need some expert help.  We got it working and now are trying to set the Option 7  (Hopper Payout)   

Chip is a SP731.  Dip switches are 1-4 ON and 5-8 OFF  ( see picture)   No credits on the machine during the setting option process.

Using the proper buttons and flashing digits,  we can change the default (300 displayed) to different amount.  Then we press the ‘self test  button to save the new amount.  Re-cycle the machine and recheck the Option 7 amount and its back to 300.   It’s not saving the new amount and that is the problem. 

Tried a couple different dip switch setting with similar results but with different default amounts.   Any ideas to try next?   Thanks.

Did I miss where you said what you changed the default amount to?  :scratch-head_3:

Press test button until you get 5__1 then press service button 10 times.  It should display the 8 dip settings (0off/1on). If you keep changing dips 1 and 2 around and it's staying on 300 every time then I would clear the machine. It should default to 1000 if both 1 and 2 are on and allow you to change it to whatever you want.
