Title: S+ Red White And Blue. Using tokens

I'm trying to get a IGT RED WHITE AND BLUE.

To accept tokens over quarters.

I replaced the quarter with a token in the coin acceptor.
First the magnet was causing me problems,  that was solved.

Its hit or miss if the machine will actually add a credit when I deposit the token.  Even with the token In the coin acceptor.

Is there something else I need to do to make the machine recognize them and add credits?

I do boy have to worry, as any wins just go on the credit meter.

It will never need to pay out. So I'm not worried about them going they the hopper.

Adjust the sensitivity on the comparitor to fully CCW position. If that does not work , the cap on the comparitor board may be weak and need replaced.

Pictures of what you have?   only magnets are on older mechanical acceptors??

the reason why it may not register credits all the time, wrong size encoder, black part in the coin optic assembly,  has three holes for the coin in optics , wrong size will allow the coin to miss one of the optic holes, thus, no credit.
