Im going to add a tito to my Igt SMLD and have a couple of questions....

My backplane looks like the one in the picture I attached.Will I need a rs232 daughter board to connect the tito to or is there somewhere on the backplane to connect it to?
If I need the daughter board where does it connect on the backplane?

Yes you will need one. J29 is comm 1. 26, 27 & 28 are comm 2, 3 & 4.

Thanks for the reply..

I had the wrong backplane picture.This is the one I have.

Its hard to see the numbers on the backplane when its in the machine.
Will the daughter board connect to one of the connectors I circled in the picture?

Laneman,
Aren't both photos you've posted the same board?

The 1st one you posted is only upside down?
I have the same board.
The leftmost header of four is [J139]
The other three 16-pin heaers are labeled as J140, J141 , and J142.

I do NOT know which one you'd plug in a Tito board to tho.

I would guess that the J139 header would be the one to use.
If not, try another one.
Nothing would get hurt.
The connector you're plugging from has 16-pins?

Below is my board...same as yours.
I don't see a J29 on it tho?
The connectors start from J100 to J149 on this board.
