Title: code 61
Post by: therockinelvis on August 17, 2015, 05:35:27 PM
Picked up a S+ and the battery had been changed. Pushed the test button to change to 61-1 but the 61 disappeared then reappeared after releasing the test button. Did not go to 61-1. I have had the 61 loop where after getting 61-1 then turning the key it flashed back to 61. Is this just a variation of 61 loop? Unless there is something else, I will just do a clear. Oh yea, it has SP810 Double Spin 5 times pay.

If you never get the 61-1, then it's not really the "loop". Just try a clear and see if that fixes it. If not, check the obvious things. The test button seems to be working since it did induce the "flash" of the 61.

I didn't really think it was the loop as I've seen that before. I'll  do clear and go from there. thanks.

Some older chips don't go to 61-1, just from 61 to working, so in a sense it could be the loop, minus the 61-1 part.  I agree with Roz, though, a clear should fix it.

I did a clear and all is good now. Sometimes that 61 is just stubborn.
