Sigma SG-50MB parts missing?

<< < (2/4) > >>

rokgpsman:
I did read where the coin comparitor used on Sigma 50 machines is model CC-16D-INHIBIT, 12vdc.  The MC-40 model you mentioned earlier is a coin comparitor by another company and perhaps it is equivalent. It might be written on its label or you can find more about it with a google search.

Below is an ebay ad for a Sigma slot machine power supply, it looks like the one you need but I'm not 100% sure. Does its connector pins look like they would match your machine's cable? You could try contacting the ebay seller to see what Sigma model it works with or which one it came out of, and get the part number of the power supply from him. (you could do the same on that power supply at Rudy's):

Jim:
slots4home  had some power supplies for Sigma machines.   is there a board in the machine?   the power supply does go behind the reels.  the coin comp. is a 12vdc inhibit version.

wallbanger:
Here are some pics. Sorry for the blur. Doesn't look like that power supply works there unless I'm missing some cables. And what is the board for on the side of that power supply in pic #1?

rokgpsman:
I lightened your picture #1 and now see that there is a board mounted there, don't know what it is for. I tried to enlarge the photo but it's just too blurry to do that.

rokgpsman:
That board might be what they call the "SIS" board. I think it is used to connect the machine to the casino's computer network (or possibly a bank of machines for progressive jackpot), probably not needed for home use or stand-alone operation. (see below)

Since this machine is new to you I'd suggest you remove the mpu (cpu) board and see if the battery is leaking or corroded. If so you need to get it off the board to prevent further damage.
