I bought a Triton Argo 7.0 ATM tonight on a whim for 50 bucks. If anything,I thought it would be fun to tinker with.I was just curious if anyone here has much knowledge on them and in their opinion,if the value is anymore than the 50 I paid?

Funny you would ask about an ATM machine on a game website?...lol
I would Google around and compare prices.
-
Can you post a picture?? I want to see this thing!

Set it next to the Gameking,so I don't have to walk so far to re-up.Unlike the casino.

That would cool to program it to read TITO tickets and spit out Monopoly money.... :cool_thumb_up:
My idea! :idea_2: ....>>> ***[Copy-Write Stayouttadabunker Inc.]*** :rotfl:

Hell just for the novelty of having one, powered up, in your game room is well worth $50. I would have thought it would sell for a few hundred actually. Thanks for posting the picture. :applause:

Now that it's there and setup, the novelty of it does seem well worth 50 bucks. An addition to what I hope will be a new, long enjoyable hobby with machines. It has a combo dial safe in it,the 8 year old granddaughter has gotten 50 bucks of fun out of it just messing with that.
"That would be cool to program it to read TITO tickets and spit out Monopoly money" Lol...got a kick out of that, that would be fun as hell to try.

So this begs the question: If we can now access our banks easily with our phone, doing transfers, deposits etc, you'd think there IS a way to tie that machine into your bank account, like the phone, but MUCH BIGGER and more fun! :propeller:

I think this is a cool purchase.
Did you get any manuals ? can you program it to read your ATM card and spit out $$ with a receipt ?
I know that some of the ATMs when they go offline (not connected to the banking networks) have a floor limit where it will read anyones card and spit out up to $200.

Didn't receive any manuals, but found anything and everything needed in PDF online.I did put my card in,got all the way thru the process. But being that it couldn't communicate with a network, refused the transaction. It was fun to play with with the grandkid for a bit. Sold it for $400 to a guy who really knew his stuff on these things instead of $500 to a guy who had no idea what he was getting himself into.Apparently there is a reprogram to be done if you don't have the super password, which I did not.

Nice profit!
:congrats:

Nice job! I've done the same thing with a slot: sold it for less to someone I knew would be able to fix it instead of to someone who'd never figure it out, or worse - come back to me for help! :fryingpan:

Thats a hell of a deal, unfortunately ive only worked on fi (financial institution atms.) never retal machines, and only ncr and hyosung atms. but it looks like triton's current model.... they brag that their machines are linux based, so they dont get tied up with all the windows upgrades that cost banks thousands of dollars in upgrades about every 3-5 years, they claim their machines last decades, because the cores (PCs) dont require consent upgrades.
did you ever find a processor, or play much with it?
