I have a couple old Mars GL5's laying around and instead of tossing them in the trash I was wondering if anyone here is able to tell me how to set one up that would be a stand alone acceptor that does nothing but take in a bill (1.00 only as thats about all they are good for at this point) and send out a pulse that I can hook to a digital counter to make it basically a bank?
I am able to put the 110v into it but they will take in a bill and then spit it back out. I assume because I have nothing hooked to the 18 pin connector. I assume I would need to jump some of the pins there to fool it into thinking it is hooked into a circuit but I have no idea. Anyone??
