I believe my options are:
- Try while touching metal/ground - Completed issue persists
- Make sure serial cable is plugged in on controller - Completed issue persists
- Could it be the MPU?
- Can it be fixed? I found an eBay auction for 1905 repairs.
- Sounds like it's the touchscreen, any tips on fixing this without sending it in?
Thanks!

You can try replacing the touchscreen controller.
-
Does someone have one for sale?
-
Also how to take off the controller card, I can't seem to find that security bit.
-
You have to remove the cover off the back of the monitor to get to the screws.

I'm pretty sure I'm the cause by overhandling the sides of this monitor. When I manhandled it I felt the main glass contact (pictured) become squishy. I peeled back and cleaned off some tape and sure enough it was moving back and forth.
The question is, how do I reconnect these, make little solder balls and use a rework station (heat gun?). Should I use kapton tape? Looking for help from someone who refurbishes touchscreens.
Thanks!
