Title: Bally 5500 all lights flashing

Have had this machine several months with no issues. Now when I plug the machine in, the tower and all buttons just flash. If I open the door and power off by the inside switch then power on and shut door it will sometimes boot up on the first try or sometimes I need to do it a couple times then machine works perfect. Thanks for any input

likely dead battery. door codes ??

Yep code on door is 81 low batt, what is the best way to install an external battery holder also all chips on board are  dated 1993 and 1994. Will I require chips when replacing the battery

Got the battery replaced and had to do a ram clear, did it with the jumper and worked perfect. So much easier than the IGT s-plus !
