Title: Bally S5500 - 81 low battery - won't clear

 Customer brought me a S 5500 nonworking purchased that way upon inspection there was no battery on board and the five amp circuit breaker was popped  I proceeded to install a battery and swapped out a power supply which fixed the popped circuit breaker but the 81 code will not clear I did a safe ROM clear with no effect and a full ram clear with you 12 and you 15 still have the 81 codeI did move the jumpers one by the battery and the other by the safe ram clear

double checked your polarity? Did you press the TEST & PSEUDO buttons dozen times to get a good contact?

problem solved - there is another battery jumper - not to the left of the battery but one towards the front of the tray - not far from the battery - that jumper was missing.  I stole one form another location on the board that wasn't being used - after the 83f message and an open bill box door - machine gamed up and ready for my customer
