I assume you're using Jurisdiction 1.  I use Jurisdiction 8.  It eliminates limits.

In an casino environment, it's fairly noisy...you'll almost never hear the mechanical meters clicking.

I highlighted in red that there's a slight difference between Juri 1 and 8 chips that I missed earlier.

kcirrick:
Yep, that's why I chose J 8.  I want to play with other jurisdictions, but swapping the clear chip in and out is a pain.  To protect the legs on my clear chips and the games in P10 I keep those chips inserted into IC sockets.  That way, if I screw up and damage the legs then it's the legs of the socket that are damaged and not the chips legs.  I started doing this after losing a couple of clear chips to broken legs.  A bonus is that the legs of that socket slide into the socket on the MPU much easier.

I thought I might mention that I have 24 mains.  I had the 24's in one machine and earlier mains on another machine.  The machine with the earlier mains only allowed doubling four times.  The machine with the 24 mains allowed unlimited doubling.  I put 24's in the other machine so it too would have the unlimited doubling.  I'm honestly not sure what the other benefits of the 24's are.

Kenokarz:
what graphics are you using with the 24 mains

kcirrick:
I moved up to 14's a while back and that worked out.  Some of my games didn't show complete graphics or even credits and other values at all.  The 14's solved that.

Sunrise Side:
Old post but the grey wire in the bill validator harness at the backplane needs to be positioned next to the purple wire. Not sure what the pin location that is?
