That's very sad news indeed.  Darrel was a great guy and I had bought some stuff from him not too long ago.  Sorry to hear this, and my sincere condolences to his family and friends.  RIP Darrel.

So sorry to hear this. I have gotten parts from him and repaired at least a couple dozen S2000 boards for him. He was a really honest and nice guy.  RIP Darrel.
