Wms bb2 backplane problem

Ok from what I understand on my bb2 backplane to the left of where my Tito goes there is a transmit and receive LEDs should be flashing. The two receive leds are on bright and stay on so can’t get my Tito to work. Had one in it and it stopped working so put it in another machine and it worked. Never noticed if those lights were on before. Why r they on. Any help would be good. Thanks

Re -Seat the CPU properly first. That may be all it is.......................If still not working........then.......

Check the Backplane and the molex plug for the switches pull it out and plug it back in securely.

If that doesn't fix it, then I would say the backplane is at fault.

You cant get into setup unless the cpu sees the door open so no other way around it.

You may just have a stuck door switch....it's underneath the reel shelf on the right hand side.
When the door is fully closed, it pushes against the metal slide to close the door switch.
Pulling the slide all the way out simulates the door being "closed" as well.
Centering it makes the door "open".

What printer do you have?
There's no need to use a Clear card.
Change the printer settings to match the printer, turn the power off then back on.

OP said he switched door and diagnostic buttons out and still had no access to setup.................

He should check to make sure the metal switch plate is moving freely so that the switch opens and closes the circuit
