IGT Reel Touch has no sound

I finally got my IGT Reel Touch going again and everything works fine except I have no sound on it.  Here is what I have done and checked on this.  I have both volume controls set on mid range.  I have change out the in line amp once and no sound to speakers.  I have plugged earphones into speaker jack on top box and there is sound in headphones so motherboard sound is there.  I have check continuity of wires from top box to speakers and they check OK.  I have a 504 game board but there are no SIMMS on it for sound as I understand the sound is generated by the top box.  Is there something I have overlooked.  All the wiring connections have been unplugged and plugged back in.  Any ideas from anybody??  Picture of game board is attached.  I am going to try another line amp tomorrow hoping that is the problem.  By the way there is voltage going to the line amp.  Thanks in advance.  Ted

hey I am having the same problem I replaced the amp from my s2000 working and still no sound how did you plug into the video box to check for sound let me know mine amp is getting 4.6 volts a/c don't know if this helps yours must be a bad cap somewhere check inside the video and trace the wire over to where it plugs in look around that spot just an idea

TJ you have confirmed top box is working.
The sound is the 4 pin connector on the bottom right of the top box. Those wires eventually go to the sound amp.
Also open the top box . There is a 4 wire connection right next to where the cooling fan for the CPU plugs in. Make sure you have a connection there. Those wires go to the back side of the connector coming out of the top box.
