Title: Looking for help with Bally 6000 Monte Carlo with 77 error

Greeting.... I have this monte carlo that developer the 77 error once when the reel landed on 'spin' and the button was pushed.  After a complete ramclear that error went away.  But now, if the machine is turned off to several hours, when it is turned back on, the ball up top will put itself on to the '50' position and I will get the 77 error.  I have found that if I open/close the door it will cycle the bill validator, turn off the 50 up top, cycle the top game once and ...... wait for it.... BAZINGA life is good again with everything working properly. Until I turn it off overnight again.


I replaced the controller board on the wheel with a known good one and that didn't cure it, reseated the cable on both ends,  any ideas?

On switch #1 on mpu board what 4-5-6 set to??   TJ
