 Hello,
I apologize in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong section.
I'm a newbie here that was recommended this wonderful forum.
The question that I have is that I have an IGT Game King, I believe its somewhere around late 90's and it has a bunch of games on it, but not all of them are available to play. For example blackjack, triple diamonds and nevada poker is available in Setup but not to play :banghead: . Some guy told me there is a 6 prong chip that needs to be reversed to enable them, so I just wanted to make sure with you guys :hail: , what is it exactly that I need to do and what info of the machine you need from me... I have pictures that sort of explain what I'm talking about

Looks like gameking 4.x. You will need a key chip (not whatever the other guy told you) to enable/disable games. Key 22 ought to work. You can post a WTB here and someone will offer you one. They are not that expensive, typically running under $20.

I've never seen Face Up Blackjack on an IGT machine! Please share a pic or link to video when you get that working!

I got the Key Chip 22, Just making sure, is this where i need to install it?
-
It can only go in one place on the board as it's the only 40 pin socket there is. Make sure that you have pin 1 lined up correctly (notch on top of the chip matches the notch printed on the board) You also can't have any credits on the machine unless you're clearing everything, then the keychip will wipe them off too.

I believe that this is the software he has and no keychip is going to work.
Face up blackjack was the give away. JMO

Good point. Some of the older 3802 games did require the use of the privileged options key on the front of the MPU to change settings.

Does anyone have instructions on how to install a 3902 board. I already have a Key Chip 22.
Thank you in advance
-
Not sure what you're asking for. 3802/3902 boards are plug and play compatible. You have to key/configure the machine after swapping the boards out. Did you figure it out?
-
Yes, What I was asking for is a step by step instructions on how to configure it after the board is already inside. But it has been solved. :thank_you:

Ok good, glad you got it setup and working!
