Title: KP3 ticket out setup? ( standard validation )

So I finally acquired a KP3 ram clear card.
I naively thought I could clear a KP3 and select standard validation to get the podium to print tickets. Too bad it's not working.
So with selexion software and volcanic rock fire installed tested and playing fine. I was hoping to figure out my cashout problems. Printer tested and working from diagnostic menu. Perhaps it's an eprom boot chip thing?
Validation is setup as:
Serial number and asset set
Ch 1, Adress 1, SAS, no lockup.
std validation
Machine control and TITO on Ch 1

Any ideas, without just brute force trying settings for ticket printing?

That should do it..  Check the cable?
Activity lights?   The machine will keep spitting out its sas id until it gets a proper response.

you have machine control, receive time, tito, legacy bonusing, eft/aft on the same channel as your tito board? 
Also, remote handpay and handpay queue enabled? 

I am fairly certain validate mode needs to be set to "system" not standard.   ticket out to "cashout", handpay receipt "none".  cashless transfer to "EFT", EFT/AFT partial transfer set to "full transfer only"

Yeah, system.

Also set the SAS ID to something other than 0 (K2V defaults to 0).    ID 0 disables "SAS" according to the protocol spec.
