I trying to find out how to make a WBA -20 -SS (NZL-503-24 )accept new NZ currency notes .
Thank you for any assistance

The WBA 20 is a one way accepatance validator, JCM has not done any updates in a while. It is also important to know what machine type this validator is being used for.

Hi Thank you for your reply
The note acceptor is installed in a New Zealand IGT GU4 machine
Is the program on an EPROM chip or is it programmed directly
cheers

WBA 20 is flashed directly WBA 21 is eprom. Go here and fill in the fields for your country and IDO type. Do you know what software version in your validator now? It is my understanding the last update was for polymer bills released in 1999.

Thank you. New Zealand is issuing new notes this year. I visited the site but could not access download any material.

You are not going to get downloadable software from that link. It is just to find out what the lastest available version of the software for your validator is. Since it is a WBA20 and it way past the support EOL (End of Life) I am 99.9999% sure you are not going to find any updates for that validator and will have to replace it with a new one if your cabinet supports a more modern validator and there's software available for your machine type. I am not familiar with NZ IGT machines, so I could not tell you what validators are compatible with your software.
