Title: WMS Dotmation Get error code " r o n n " when machine first turned on

If I leave the machine on for 5 min. and then turn it off and then on, it will start up OK.  How do I make it start up right away without the RONN trouble ?   WMS Stampede. Thank you.

Ronn1 and Ronn2? Both Chescksum chip errors. Either a bad XU2 or XU3.

Dale, it isn't ronn 1 or 2 --- just plain  ronn.  If I let the machine stay ON for about 4 min  I can turn it OFF, then ON and it starts up and is OK.    I cleaned the legs of both chips to no avail.   Would another pair of chips from another dotmation game [ Big Bang Piggy  Bankin ]  work in this Stampede ?  Know anybody who could sell me a good pair of these chips ?

You would have to change all the cpu chips and the dot chips as they are game specific. You could always do that to test your board, maybe try that?  I can help with the XU2 and XU3, your machine is a Jackpot Stampede Deluxe ?  I can get you those in 97% Standard Jurisdiction. Do you have a WMS clear in the denomination you are using?
