Title: M Slot Cash out fault
Post by: Thompy on May 03, 2017, 03:44:25 PM
Hi all,

I have a M Slot that has the button panel installed like most have, usually when you hit a win the credits goes into the bank until you cash out.
Now the machine automatically cashes out as if you have pressed the cash out button.
The micro switch is fine, I have also removed the spades of the switch but it still does the same, I noticed that the loom from the switch panel runs onto the door board, I removed the plug from there but still the same.

The ribbon cable seems ok, I changed the motherboard but the fault stays in the cabinet.

Any ideas?

 :thank_you:

Many thanks

Does it do it all the time, or over a certain number to credits?  There's a setting for the hopper size and if you exceed it the machine will pay from the hopper to keep it under the max amount the hopper can pay.

Attached is the M slot manual.  Check out page 5-4, there appears to be a setting that allows you to turn credit play on or off.  Maybe yours is set to off?

Tilt many thanks with that, that setting is not there when I scroll through the settings as the button panel is installed so it doesn't give me the option to turn it off or on.
It does seem like a software issue, it just happened once when the machine was being played.
