I need some help with an issue I am having with the video screen on my Alpha. When the game is on for about 30 minutes the main screen goes off. If I turn the machine back on or unplug the screen directly and plug it back in and it will come back on. I check all the connection and nothing seems to be loose. Anyone ever experience this issue or have any ideas what I need to look for to fix this issue? It just recently started doing this.
Thanks for any help anyone can give on how to fix this issue.

If the screen goes off but the ideck is still on, I'm having the same issue. I thought it was gonna be the video card but i haven't test that yet.

What brand monitor is the 32"? Also, are the graphics fuzzy looking or still sharp and clear?
-
The monitor is a Ceronix. I switched out the graphics card yesterday to see if this would solve my problem. That did not fix it. So I cleaned out all the fans in the machine and reconnected all the cables. Still no change.
So basically after the game is running for about 30 minutes, the screen will shut off. If I leave the game running the monitor will come back on after about 8 minutes. The screen is still crystal clear while working so i have it narrowed down that it must be over heating. It shuts off to cool down and the clicks back on until it gets to hot again.
So now I have to figure out what is wrong and what is causing it to over heat.
Any suggestions??

What is the build date of the monitor? It'll be on the label on the back.

I will check when I get home this evening and let you know.

Okay; reason I'm asking is if it's dated in 2016, there is a known issue with the A/D board voltage regulators that'll cause it to turn off. Ceronix is exchanging them without charge. I've already exchanged about a dozen across several different model LCDs.

Wow. I will check this later this afternoon.
Thanks for all your help!

Try using a different hard drive. I did that and it seems to be working.

Thanks for the info. I never thought of that but I will give it a try and see if it helps.

That is if it's giving the issue where the main screen turns off but the ideckis still shows video. At first i thought it was the video card but I changed board and used the same hard drive and after a few minutes, same problem. I hope you can fix your problem. Have a nice day. Aquiles

Yes, you are correct. The machine works fine and the video topper and Ideck stay on just fine. The screen just goes off. The strange part is that it will come back on after about 8 to 10 minutes.. I will check out the hard drive later this evening,
Thanks again for all your help!

The main screen never came back in my case so it must be the solution our friend is describing. If is either or, I hope you get your problem solved. That's what it matters at the end. I'm more than glad trying to help.

I just checked and it is dated Dec 2016. So my guess is that this CRT is having this issue. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.

Hey Sir
Did you ever find an answer for this ? I have a v22/32 and am having same problem. iDeck works but both monitors shut off. Usually right after game loads. I have replaced board and video card. even new hard drive.
Only thing other than cabinet I haven't replaced are bios and jurisdiction chip.
ANY Help would be appreciated.
