Title: White side connectors search
Post by: Badbaud on December 15, 2017, 03:51:54 PM
Does anyone know the manufacturer and part numbers for the 6 pin and 14 pin white connectors on the side of the IGT/Bally DBV200 head?
I need to purchase some to replace some corroded connectors.

Badbaud,

If you have not found the info yet. I believe the connectors are molex. If they are like the ones below they are marked MXJ 2 on the inside.

Ya, I contacted Molex and they said that series of connectors is obsolete and they don't have a cross that would work.

Hello,
a wire came off the connection that connects to the 14 pin connecter.  would anyone know I can find out what slot the wire goes into? Or maybe a picture of yours?

thx,

Not at the shop right now but it is usually the connection just vertical of the one connected.

Did the wire come off by itself? Or, did it pull out with the pin still connected? If you can, it might be best to post a photo and what game you have.

Maybe you or someone has a dead DBV head and you can take the connectors off it?

Ya, I'm still trying to find my solder pot after the move, I have about 10 boards I can rob from.
I was hoping for some new ones because those tin pins corrode down to the copper which oxidizes and causes a bad connection.
