Title: Help to identify correct lcd frame/panel for GK19+ Cabinet
Post by: TheDude on October 28, 2019, 04:10:30 PM
I (https://www.ebay.com/itm/IGT-300W-Power-Supply-40814700-40009003/183812302408?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649) picked up a non working GK19+. The lcd frame was sitting on the floor with a few different lcd panels next to it so I am unsure what panel goes with the frame and chassis or even if it is the correct monitor to begin with. Two things have me thinking this may not be the correct display.

1: When I installed the frame into the cabinet there is a gap between the door frame and the monitor frame.

2: This frame has a 21 pin connector and I see most replacements say either 19 or 25.

I would love to start troubleshooting this game as the sunlight these fall days are offering up are getting really short. In the central time zone it starts to get dark around 4:15 soon!!! :banghead:   Need this Game King up and running as a winter diversion.

Kortek KTL190L-01 with M190EG01 V2 lcd panel

Pretty sure that is for a slant top machine.  There are only two types of of connectors, 19 pin and 25 pin.  Count the number of holes, not the number of pins.  Since you are at 21, it has to be a 25 pin.  It won't plug in if it doesn't match the connector on your machine.  If it does fit, fire it up and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply...
The connectors do fit together though the female cabinet connector only has 19 pins wired.

Any idea if the current 25 pin frame will work in this situation?

Any leads on the proper new or used replacement display appreciated.  :thank_you:
