Title: Coin Acceptor Error Signal?
Post by: RILaw on November 12, 2015, 10:45:23 AM
Ok,  loaded the games I wanted on my GM v7200 and now only have one issue,  won't accept coins.   It has a cc-46 and shows "error signal " in Coin Acceptor Test screen.... So,  is the CC just bad,  or am I missing something?   It figures I must have fifty or more coin comparitors,  but no CC-46, all cc-16d,  etc.... Always the way.

Was it working before you added games? There's a coin optic device below the CC that has to be enabled when the machine is set up after installing the clear chip.

No,  was not working when I bought it.   I selected "coin acceptor and Cod board" after clear.

Ok,  just took the CC-46 12v apart,  checked for cold solder joints,  cleaned optics and unit.   No change...

There's a little screw on the CC. Try turning it all the way counterclockwise and see what happens. Sometimes the sensitivity is set too tight.
Is there a sample coin in there? Make sure it's seated properly.

Its all the way to the left,  tried three different quarters in it... Sigh

I think you have the wrong CC in there. I think it's supposed to be a CC 62 or 16
Hang on...
Chris ... Is this for the GM you got in September? Or do have another one you can swap CCs with?

This is my only GM,  CC in there looks stock... I don't have a CC with this plug,  have 50+ of them too... Figures

Can you post a shot just below the CC?
I'm not sure if I see the COD below.
