Hey guys. I'm replacing all my buttons/switches on my IGT I game with new ones with leds. The ground wire pin is not on the new switches. What was the purpose of the switch ground wire in the original switches ? It looks like it grounded the spring inside of the switch but not to the machine housing. Is it not necessary with the new switches ? I included a picture ( old switch on the right ) Thanks guys!

Just pull the grounding wire off the switches and bundle them up with a zip tie. They aren't necessary for the buttons to function.
