Title: Easy question - Can you use wba 13 ss transport with a "wba 11" head?

Picked up a CDS machine that has a wba 11 transport and head, both show wba 11 su their sticker.  The transport keeps throwing a motor error, so I'd like to replace it.  The manual shows I should be using a wba 13, so not sure if this BV actually ever worked.  But in hopes of just replacing the transport portion, and not both transports and head, can these be mixed and matched?


Can I pickup the wba 13 transport (id003 chip) and keep the original head which shows wba 11?

The heads are the same, but if you have a wba11, and want to use a wba13 transport, you will also need to change the connecting harness on the rear, as the mating connectors are different for the wba11 and wba13's.
