Title: Check version on WBA 12/13?

I downloaded the WBA version checker software from JCM to check the version of the downloaded file on the RAM of a WBA 12/13. Trying to find out what version the software is because it is the only WBA I have found that works on our Williams. All I get is "check baud rate and connection" even though all of that is set properly. I'm using my XP computer that can download bin's to the WBA's no problem.

First let me qualify my knowledge - I know nothing of the JCM interface however I have done lots of serial communications .....

What you can do to find out what version the downloaded file is...Open the file in a eprom burner program.Look at the info in the buffer.It will say what version you have there.

I'm trying to read the code in the RAM of a download only WBA, there is no EPROM or EPROM socket.

I'd mess around with baud rate settings on another machine & BV to see if I can get it to comm with the software.
Can you email that program...I'd like to fool around with it here.
Gotta couple of WBA 12/13's with emedded RAMs I can mess with.
